Are you a moving company?
Yes — NK Moving Solutions is a fully licensed and insured Florida moving company in Orlando. State HHG license and DOT/MC interstate authority on file. We run our own W-2 crew and our own trucks.
Are you a broker?
No. We are not a broker, matching service, or lead aggregator. NK walks the estimate, signs the figure, and rolls the truck.
What does a 2-bedroom Orlando move cost?
Standard flat figure is $1,295 for a 2-bedroom local move within Orange County. Three-bed runs $2,295. One-bed is $595.
What is the hourly rate?
Hourly is $189 for two movers plus a 26-foot truck. Hourly is the fallback when an inventory is unusual; most jobs go flat.
What is the deposit?
$245 holds your date and is credited against the final invoice on move day. Refundable up to 72 hours before the move.
How do you handle HOA gates?
Lucia files a COI to property management and pulls the visitor-gate permits for Avalon Park, Dr. Phillips, Lake Nona, and Hunter’s Creek before the truck rolls.
What about Florida summer heat?
Jun–Sep we start loads before 9am, wrap pieces in sealed bags against sweat and UV, and run A/C-only truck transit.
Do you work around theme-park shifts?
Yes. Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld cast-members get the long Tuesday or Wednesday evening slots that line up with their off-days.
Are pianos extra?
Piano protocol starts at $475 — uprights, baby grands, gun safes, antique armoires. Walk-boards and stair dollies on the truck.
Do you do labor-only load help?
Yes. Two W-2 NK movers at $129/hr to load or unload your U-Haul, Penske, or POD. No equipment minimum.
What is the claim window?
The federal nine-month window applies. Cargo coverage is $1M per load, with the $0.60-per-pound federal baseline as the default valuation.
Do you have short-term storage?
Yes. Climate-controlled storage at the Forsyth Road bay. Daily or monthly. Common for between-lease gaps and HOA board approvals.
Can you do a same-day Orlando move?
Sometimes — if Marcus or Tariq has a chief slot open. Call the office first thing in the morning.
What is not included in the flat figure?
Specialty crating beyond standard pads, third-party piano tuning, mandatory shuttle for inaccessible streets, and tolls on long-distance routes.
